McLaren aims to benefit from upgrades

McLaren managing director Jonathan Neale says the team hopes to benefit from a series of upgrades at Silverstone this weekend having trialled a series of tweaks during a straight-line test in Spain ahead of the British Grand Prix.The session at the Idiada facility allowed the team to look at ways in which it can try and improve the performance of the MP4-28 after a tough start to the campaign that has seen both Jenson Button and Sergio Perez off the pace of the front-runners so far.Having failed to even score last time out in Canada, which ended its long run of points scoring finishes, the team will now aim to try and bounce back on home soil and Neale said the straight-line session was...
