Horner disappointed by late notice

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has revealed that Mark Webber left it right until the last minute to tell the team he is quitting Formula One. Veteran Webber confirmed on Thursday morning that he would leave the sport at the end of the season to join up with Porsche's new sportscar programme, which will include entry into next year's Le Mans 24 Hours. Although the Australian claimed Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz "has been completely up to speed with my thinking in the last few months", Horner says he only found out about the decision minutes before it became public.
