Bottas fined for pit lane speeding

Three drivers were called to the stewards – which this weekend includes Nigel Mansell – after breaching the regulations. One driver was fined whilst the two other drivers were reprimanded. Valtteri Bottas was found to have sped in the pit lane after he passed through 9.8km/h over the speed limit and the Williams team – who under an agreement between the FIA and GPDA – were fined 1000. Lewis Hamilton was also called to the stewards for not keeping to the right of the bollard at the pit lane entry – the drivers had been instructed to do this and Hamilton failed to do this during FP2.
