Lancaster claims maiden GP2 win

British driver Jon Lancaster claimed his maiden GP2 victory after dominating the Sprint race on Sunday. Julian Leal made a slow getaway from pole position and it was fourth placed Lancaster who rocketed into the lead at Abbey. Behind him, Stephane Richelmi made contact with Jolyon Palmer while Johnny Cecotto pitted for repairs. Contact also allowed several others to make progress. James Calado surged from ninth to third on the first lap, while Stefano Coletti, Alexander Rossi and Felipe Nasr also profited from the misfortune of others. The safety car was deployed briefly early on when Daniel Abt lost control of his ART exiting Farm, ending up facing backwards in the middle of the circuit....
