Nico Rosberg made the most of Lewis Hamilton's tyre woes and Seb Vettel's DNF to win the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Having started P2 on the grid next to Mercedes team-mate Hamilton and ahead of Vettel, Rosberg found himself down in P3 after the first corner as Vettel got a good start. Hamilton was looking comfortable at the front as he built a lead of more than two seconds, but disaster struck on lap eight when he suffered a left-rear puncture. He somehow managed to nurse his car back to the pits and came out at the back of the grid.
