McLaren duo urge immediate discussions pertaining to tyre failures

The McLaren duo of Jenson Button and Sergio Perez have both urged immediate discussions between the powers that be with regards to the numerous tyre failures during this weekend’s British Grand Prix, which overshadowed a thoroughly entertaining affair around the Silverstone circuit. Once again the Woking-based outfit struggled greatly within the highly competitive midfield section of the pack, with both of their drivers failing to score a single World Championship point for the second race weekend in succession. Towards the end of the 52-lap race, Jenson Button struggled with tyre wear after the second safety car period, plummeting through the order to eventually finish a lowly 13th....
