Webber backing Ricciardo to replace him

Mark Webber believes that his compatriot Daniel Ricciardo would be the perfect man to replace him at Red Bull. Webber announced last week that he would be leaving Formula One at the end of the season, sparking wild speculation as to who would take over his much-coveted spot at Red Bull. As a member of Red Bull's sister team, Toro Rosso, Ricciardo is one of those who has been placed in the frame and the Australian's eighth place finish at Silverstone on Sunday only enhanced his reputation.
