Pirelli gets unrestricted testing green light

Pirelli has reportedly been granted permission to conduct unrestricted testing with any team and any current car in an effort to solve its problems according to Bernie Ecclestone. Pirelli suffered embarrassment on Sunday during the British Grand Prix when multiple tyres failed, including leader Lewis Hamilton's. Ecclestone, who has been in discussion with FIA president Jean Todt, revealed that Pirelli will conduct a tyre test almost immediately. "They can use what they like. No restrictions.
