Bernie: Pirelli free to do two tests

F1 surpremo Bernie Ecclestone says Pirelli will be allowed to conduct two tyre tests, but a report claims no discussions have taken place yet. Pirelli has once again copped a lot of flak after four different drivers suffered left-rear tyre blowouts during Sunday's British Grand Prix. The FIA has already confirmed it will meet with the Italian manufacturer on Wednesday but the president of motorsport's governing body, Jean Todt, has called for calm in the wake of the Silverstone drama. The F1 fraternity, though, is eager to sort out the tyre woes as soon as possible and Ecclestone claims Pirelli has been given the go-ahead to conduct two unrestricted three-day tyre tests....
