Sebastian Vettel became the fifth driver to lead for 10,000 kilometres in Formula 1 after he inherited the top spot at the British Grand Prix from Lewis Hamilton. The Red Bull driver, who retired at Silverstone ten laps from the end of the race with a gearbox failure, has now spent a total of 10,193kms leading races. He surpassed Jim Clark’s tally of 10,125kms at the British GP moving up to fourth in the all-time list. Vettel still has a long way to go before he can break the record set by seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher, who spent 24,144kms in the lead of races. Ayrton Senna is second in the list with 13,676km in the lead, followed by Alain Prost with 12,481km led....
