Boullier: We've apologised to Kimi

Lotus boss Eric Boullier acknowledges they made a mistake in electing not to call Kimi Raikkonen in for fresh tyres when the Safety Car was deployed for a second time during Sunday's British Grand Prix. While a number of other teams had made the decision to call their drivers in and provide them with fresh tyres, Lotus left Kimi out on the track. As a result, Raikkonen was powerless to stop his quicker rivals from passing him in the closing laps and he eventually finished down in fifth when a podium place had been on the cards.
