Lotus says “Sorry Kimi!”

Kimi Raikkonen missed out on a podium finish at Silverstone due to a mistake in the team's strategy team boss Eric Boullier admits this week. The Finn was well under way for a podium finish when the team decided to keep Raikkonen out on track when the safety car was deployed rather than getting him in for a fresh set of tyres. Looking back at last weekend's British Grand Prix team principal Boullier said: “The outcome of the race wasn’t rewarding with the amount of work that has been done by the team recently. Most of the upgrades we brought seemed to be working which is a positive sign, although we did struggle a bit in qualifying to generate good grip from the tyres. Our strategy was...
