FIA gets tough on tyre usage

There will be no tyre swapping allowed at the German GP while the FIA will also closely monitor the tyre pressures and cambers this weekend. The move comes after Pirelli wrote to the FIA requesting that they enforce stricter limits in the wake of the tyre blowouts suffered by several different drivers at last week's British Grand Prix. There will be limits on tyre pressures and camber angles and the swapping of left and right-hand side tyres has been banned as Pirelli feels it contributed to the tyre failures at Silverstone.
