Sebastian Vettel has congratulated rival Lewis Hamilton for his stunning pole lap in today's German Grand Prix qualifying session. The German driver just missed out on a home pole by a tenth of a second and admitted that he 'tried everything.' The triple world champion admitted that he lost time in the first sector which is where he had been struggling. Speaking in a team statement reacting to the grid he said: 'Congratulations to Lewis on pole. It was very tight today, I tried everything.
