Räikkönen to drive at Silverstone test

Lotus has announced that Kimi Räikkönen will complete a full day of running at next week's modified Young Driver Test at Silverstone. The Finn will be joined by Nicolas Prost and Davide Valsecchi, who will also get a day of track time each. The July 17-19 gathering had initially been set aside for rookies, but governing body the FIA made changes to allow race drivers the chance to test Pirelli's new tyre range. The Enstone-based team will run development driver Prost on the opening day of the test, followed by third driver Valsecchi, before Räikkönen brings the test to a close.
