Overview: The engine line-up for 2014
Formula 1 will experience one of its biggest technical overhauls next season, with V8 engines being replaced by turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 powerplants. Ahead of the changes, GPUpdate.net has put together a list of confirmed engine agreements. Red Bull – Renault Red Bull and Renault – winners of the past three Drivers' and Constructors' crowns – will remain a force until at least 2016, with an extended deal being signed in 2011. Ferrari – Ferrari As has been the case since the first official Grand Prix back in 1950, Ferrari designs its own cars and engines. So long as the sport continues, this will not change.
