Kevin Magnussen was the pacesetter for Mclaren on the first day of the Young Driver Test at Silverstone. The Dane, who completed 100 laps over the course of the day, set a time of 1.33.602 in the final half hour of the session to go fastest of all in the MP4-28. James Calado and Antonio Felix Da Costa had been the early pacesetters in the morning, testing for Force India and Red Bull respectively.
