Bangkok to host 2013 Race of Champions

Thailand has won the bid to stage the 2013 Race of Champions. The event, which this year runs from December 14-15, will return to Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium after the 65,000 capacity venue made its hosting debut at the end of last year. The end-of-season competition, which has been held since 1988, pits motorsport stars from a variety of classes against each other in equal machinery. Racing takes place on a specially constructed tarmac circuit, featuring two parallel lanes.
