Caterham already trialling 2014 parts

The Young Driver Test at Silverstone has given Caterham an opportunity to run some of the parts that they plan to use on their 2014 car. The Formula One regulations will change quite a bit for the 2014 season with the biggest one being the switch to the 1.6l turbocharged V6 engines. With only a handful of testing days next year, Caterham are using this week's test at Silverstone to trial a few systems. Test driver Alexander Rossi, who was behind the wheel of the CT03 on Wednesday, revealed some of the interesting bits that they are running. "We were running a new mechanical system of balancing understeer and oversteer between high speed and low speed corners," he told Autosport....
