RoC staying in Bangkok

Bangkok's Rajamangala stadium will once again play host to the annual Race of Champions this year. The Thai capital has hosted the event, which pits the best from Formula One, the World Rally Championship, MotoGP, Le Mans, MotoGP and IndyCar, for the past six years. This year's competition will take place on December 14-15 - three weeks after the conclusion of the Formula One season. "Last year's ROC was Thailand's largest motor sport event ever. It was an enormous success and put Thailand on the map for major sports events," said Kanokphand Chulakasem, governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand.
