Tyres 'easier to handle' – Sutil

Force India driver Adrian Sutil has said that the new Pirelli tyres tested during the Silverstone Young Driver Test are 'easier to handle' with a 'less dramatic' drop-off in performance. The German was speaking after setting the second fastest time on the final day of the Silverstone test. He completed 99 laps at the wheel of the VJM06 before handing it over to GP2 driver James Calado for the closing stages. Speaking after his day of running Sutil said in a statement: 'It was only tyre testing today, but it was interesting to see how the new tyres react. They are a bit easier to handle so the drop-off won't be as dramatic as we saw in a few races. Silverstone is a good circuit for testing...
