Ricciardo: It was my mistake

Daniel Ricciardo held his hands up for "pushing a little bit too hard" after making an inauspicious start to his big Red Bull test chance at Silverstone, but remains hopeful he has done enough to win the race to succeed Mark Webber at the team next season. The Australian youngster took part in what effectively amounted to a public 'audition' for the 2014 seat alongside Sebastian Vettel in the afternoon on Thursday, Ricciardo moving over from his regular seat in junior team Toro Rosso in which he had set the pace in the morning.
