Austrian GP to return to F1 calendar in 2014
The Austrian Grand Prix is set to return to the Formula 1 calendar after a decade-long absence next year, according to Motorsport-Total.com. A deal has been struck between F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone and Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz, whose company owns the revamped Austrian circuit now called the Red Bull Ring. After all the necessary regulatory approvals are finalised, the Austrian GP would be held on July 6 next season.
