Ward may run against Todt in FIA election

FIA president Jean Todt may face opposition in the upcoming presidential election from Briton David Ward who is considering running against the Frenchman. Todt is coming to the end of his four-year reign after he defeated Ari Vatanen in the last election when former-president Max Moseley stepped down. It's believed Todt is eyeing a second term as president of the sanctioning body. Ward though, a former aid to Moseley and the current director general of the FIA Foundation, has signalled his interest in running for the top job to give voters a choice.
