Bottas earns first fine under new pit rules

Valtteri Bottas has picked up the first fine under Formula 1's new pit lane regulations, with the Finn breaking the speed limit in opening practice at the Hungaroring. After an FOM cameraman was injured by a loose wheel during the German Grand Prix, the FIA opted to reduce the previous limit of 100 km/h (62.1 mph) to 80 km/h (49.7 mph) for all sessions. And on Friday morning, Bottas broke it by 21.1 km/h (13.1 mph). The infraction has earned his Williams team a maximum fine of 1000 (£863).
