Grid penalty for loose wheels

Drivers will be handed a ten-place grid penalty should their team release the car from the pits without all four wheels securely attached. Earlier this season, FOM cameraman Paul Allen was left with a broken collarbone and broken ribs after a loose wheel came off Mark Webber's RB9 following a pit stop in Germany. Red Bull Racing were fined €30,000 for an unsafe pit release with the team revealing that the "go" signal was accidentally been sent by the right rear-gun man.
