Race Notes - Hamilton wins for Mercedes in Hungary
Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix today in the Mercedes GP, over Kimi Raikkonen in the Lotus-Renault in second, and Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull-Renault in third place. The tyre choice for today is the medium and soft Pirelli compound tyres - the soft proving to run 1.5 seconds per lap quicker - most expecting a two or three stop strategy. The top eight runners starting on softs. A hot day, with temperatures expected to reach 50 degrees Celsius. At the start Hamilton takes the lead from pole, Grosjean pressured Vettel for second, but can't get the position. At turn 2 Alonso tries pass Grosjean on the outside, but runs out of room and has to back off. Rosberg and Massa touch...
