Giedo van der Garde has dubbed the Hungarian Grand Prix as his best race of the year so far, after the Dutchman finished an impressive 14th ahead of his team-mate Charles Pic and the Marussia duo. At one stage during the race he was even ahead of Valtteri Bottas, such was his competitiveness at the start. Despite once again being out-qualified by team-mate Charles Pic, Giedo van der Garde mastered a sensational start at the back of the pack rising momentarily ahead of Valtteri Bottas on the opening lap.
