Maldonado ends Williams points drought

Pastor Maldonado finished in tenth place in the Hungarian Grand Prix, scoring both his and Williams's first point of the season. It ends a points drought for the team that dated back to last year's United States Grand Prix in Austin. The Venezuelan drove a strong race and was able to score his first points finish after Nico Rosberg’s late retirement on lap 64. 'I had a really good start from P15 and made a few overtaking manoeuvres during the race which were on the limit, which is especially pleasing as at this track it is very hard to overtake,' he said.
