Ferrari offers Raikkonen to rejoin team in 2014

Kimi Raikkonen is not only chased by Lotus and Red Bull for next season but also Ferrari, who joined the hunting party last Thursday at the Hungarian Grand Prix. According to the Bild, Ferrari has made an offer to the Finn to return to the Italian team, with terms of the contract reportedly more lucrative than that of Red Bull’s. With Fernando Alonso’s relationship with Ferrari in trouble after the Spaniard criticised the car after the Hungarian GP, for which he was rebuked by Luca di Montezemolo, Raikkonen is a now the best candidate to fill in the double world champion’s shoes.
