Calado confirms Force India discussions

James Calado has confirmed that his management team is negotiating with Force India over an official role. The Briton, competing in GP2, has been tipped to become the outfit's reserve driver, with practice outings a possibility later in the season. Last month, the 24-year-old completed three half days behind the wheel of Force India's VJM06 chassis at the Silverstone Young Driver Test, posting a personal best time just two tenths slower than Paul di Resta and seven tenths adrift of Adrian Sutil. Rumours soon linked Calado to Friday practice appearances with the team, and he has now confirmed that new manager Nicolas Todt, who also looks after the careers of Felipe Massa, Pastor Maldonado...
