Sauber confirm that Russian deal is still on track

Sauber have dismissed ‘false reports and rumours' published by the media, which claimed that the Russian financial deal to save the team was on the rocks, confirming that the deal is progressing as expected and that the initial payments have now been received. The German press reported on Tuesday that the Russian deal, which was announced after the German Grand Prix, had been cast into doubt, with suspicions raised over the involvement of the NIAT (National Institute for Aviation and Technology).
