Force India confident about return to form

By Phillip Horton on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 Force India team principal Vijay Mallya says he is confident that his squad can return to form after a pair of non-scoring races in Germany and Hungary. Mallya emphasised that his Force India team can get on top of the tyres at a traditionally strong track for them in Belgium. 'Tyres have played a very important role this year from race one onwards,' said Mallya. 'We were on top of the tyre game up until Silverstone and then in Germany and Hungary we have struggled with the new tyres. We need to get on top of that and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t be able to. We just need time and I’m quite optimistic that we will come back strong.'...
