Sergey Sirotkin will make his first appearance for Sauber when he completes a demonstration run in Sochi in September.As part of a deal with new Russian investors, one of whom is Sirotkin's father, the team are to prepare the 17-year-old for an F1 race seat next season.
Sauber confirmed that the Moscow-born racer had a seat-fitting at the their Swiss factory on Tuesday and Wednesday this week ahead of the event at the Black Sea resort which is scheduled for 27th September.
The city are hoping to host a grand prix in 2014 around their Winter Olympic Park, but missed July's application deadline after a dispute between the Russian Automobile Federation and race promoters.
