Jules Bianchi could be set to make a jump into the midfield and leave Marussia at the end of the season, with Ferrari reportedly being eager to see the rookie race for a team higher up the grid.
Bianchi – a member of the Ferrari driver academy – has so far impressed in his debut season despite regularly scrapping at the back of the pack. He has out-qualified and out-raced team-mate Max Chilton despite joining the team just weeks prior to the 2013 season-opener.
It was a late move to the team for the Frenchman after he lost out on a seat at Force India. He was drafted in at the 11th hour to replace sponsor-troubled Luiz Razia.
