Minor alternations made to Monza circuit

Minor alterations have been made to the kerbing of the Monza circuit ahead of this weekend’s Italian Grand Prix, in a bid to avoid a repeat of incidents similar to that experienced by Jean-Éric Vergne in 2012. Last season’s race saw the Frenchman become airborne over the Turn 1 chicane, having earlier lost control under braking. With his car entering the corner sideways-on the kerbing launched the Toro Rosso driver into the air.
