Prac Two: Vettel shows his hand
Sebastian Vettel showed some impressive pace in FP2 at Monza, up his rivals on the hard and the medium tyres. The afternoon's session ahead of Sunday's Italian Grand Prix got off to a frantic start as the drivers were quickly down to business. With the track temperature a toasty 42'C, the Lotus drivers and the McLaren duo set the early pace before Sebastian Vettel came storming through with a 1:25.038. The reigning World Champion was soon under attack from his team-mate Mark Webber, who missed the very start of the 90-minute session as his Red Bull mechanics replaced his KERS battery.
