Despite admitting to one of his best opening days in recent events, Hamilton wound up 0.887 seconds off the ultimate pace, with reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel producing a rapid effort in the afternoon to move comfortably clear of the field. And although the Briton's car balance is better than initially anticipated after his pre-race braking fears, he says a series of overnight set-up changes are required.
