Thermal Cam gets thumbs-up

Paul Hembery has given Pirelli's thumbs-up to the thermal imaging camera that showed heat being put through the tyres on Paul di Resta's car during Friday practice at the Italian GP. Coverage of the afternoon session showed the front tyres on Di Resta's Force India glowing through the corners at Monza. "It was great wasn't it?" Hembery said. "It's the sort of thing we use in our own development work. We fit, I think, seven infra-red cameras across the tyre and do some quite complex data collection.
