Ferrari fined for Massa's pit exit

Ferrari were hand a €10,000 fine by the Monza stewards for sending Felipe Massa out onto the track too late in FP1. The Brazilian driver exited his Ferrari garage with just seconds remaining in Friday's first practice session for the Italian GP. As Massa approached the white line that marks the end of the pit lane, the light changed to red and the Brazilian slammed brakes. However, it was not enough to prevent him from crossing the white line - and almost hitting his team-mate Fernando Alonso who was stationary for a practice start.
