Raikkonen had pace to challenge Vettel

Lotus insists Kimi Raikkonen had the pace to challenge for victory in the Italian Grand Prix after he failed to score for the second consecutive race. Raikkonen ran in to the back of Sergio Perez at the start of the race and had to replace his front wing at the end of the first lap. However, from that point on he climbed back through the field to finish in 11th place and trackside operations director Alan Permane said the pace from lap two onwards would have seen Raikkonen fighting for the win.
