Monisha Kaltenborn has confirmed that Sergey Sirotkin will drive for Sauber in 2014, but only if he gets his super-license. However, she feels confident that the Russian driver can get it.
Sirotkin made his debut in the Formula 1 paddock last weekend, spending time in the team's garage over the Italian Grand Prix weekend and getting to know the team that he could potentially be working with next season.
Young drivers have to meet strict criteria set by the FIA in order to gain their super-license, including at least 300km of running in Formula 1 machinery and success in junior motorsport categories.
