Heikki Kovalainen is confident Caterham are on the right track when it comes to their 2014 car, but concedes only time will tell how much they have progressed.
With F1 set for several rule changes next year, just about all the teams have already switched their focus to development of next year's cars and Caterham are no different.
Kovalainen, who rejoined the squad midway through this season as a reserve and test driver, feels the Leafield-based team should have a quicker car next year, but feels it's important to adopt a wait and see policy.
