Perez targets points finish after Monza disappointment

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes driver Sergio Perez is targeting a strong points finish at the Singapore Grand Prix after missing out on a top 10 finish last time out in Italy. The Mexican driver revealed that the team will continue to bring developments and upgrades to the race, although some of these may be aimed towards next year. Speaking in a team statement about the up-coming night race he said: 'I’ve finished in the points in my two previous visits to Singapore, so, after the disappointment of just failing to get home in the top 10 at Monza, a points finish next weekend will clearly be my aim.'
