Warwick named as Singapore driver steward
"true">Derek Warwick will make his tenth appearance as the FIA’s driver representative steward at this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix, having last taken up the role in Spa-Francorchamps. Warwick made 146 appearances during a 13-year stint in the top echelon, turning out for Toleman, Renault, Brabham, Arrows and Lotus. His best points haul came in the 1984 season, where the Briton scored all four of his career podiums on his way to seventh in the Drivers’ Championship. Alongside his frequent stewarding duties, the 59 year-old has been President of the British Racing Drivers’ Club since 2011.
