Fernando Alonso is hoping for a "good Sunday" after once again struggling for single lap pace during qualifying in Singapore.
The double World Champion was down on pace during Saturday's qualifying at the high downforce Marina Bay circuit and could only manage seventh place on the grid.
Alonso's 1:43.938 was a full second short of title rival Sebastian Vettel's pole position time.
But despite his Saturday trials, Alonso is hoping to bounce back come Sunday night's 61-lap grand prix.
"We were not competitive in any of the sessions this weekend unfortunately and we were struggling a little bit with the pace compared with our main competitors," he told Sky Sports F1....
