Massa: Sixth place is a really good result

Ferrari driver Felipe Massa has said sixth place in Singapore was a ‘really good result’ for him given everything that happened. Unlike most of the finishers in the top-ten, Massa opted for a three-stop strategy, his final trip to the pits dropping him down to twelfth. However, he made full use of the fresh rubber over the closing laps, hauling himself back up the order and eventually picking up eight championship points, a result, that combined with the second place of team-mate, Fernando Alonso, helped the Scuderia close on Red Bull Racing in the Constructors’ Championship, albeit by only one point. “Given everything that happened in today’s race, sixth place is a really good...
