Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso have both taken to Twitter to make light of the penalties they received at the end of the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday. Having retired from the race on the final lap, Webber gestured towards Alonso – on his in-lap at the time – for a lift back to the pits. The Spaniard duly stopped and Webber ran onto the track and jumped onto the back of the Ferrari before riding around the rest of the lap. However, two cars had to stop to avoid hitting Alonso, with Lewis Hamilton narrowly avoiding the back of the F138 once Webber had clambered aboard, alerting the situation to the stewards.
