New Jersey back on 2014 Formula 1 calendar

The Grand Prix of New Jersey is back on the calendar for the 2014 Formula 1 season, after the FIA released a 22-race provisional schedule following a meeting of the World Motorsport Council. The presence of New Jersey is sure to raise eyebrows, after it was dropped from this season’s calendar in the winter of last year. Nevertheless, the sport’s governing body has classed both it, Mexico and Korea as ‘provisional’, meaning that the top echelon may yet avoid having to undertake its longest ever campaign.
