Japanese driver Kimiya Sato will attend this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka as Sauber's reserve driver, the Swiss team said on Tuesday. The 24-year-old Sato will act as back-up for German Nico Hulkenberg, fresh from an impressive fourth-placed finish in South Korea, and Mexican Esteban Gutierrez. Sato, who is no relation of former F1 driver Takuma Sato – who drove for Jordan, BAR and Super Aguri from 2002 to 2008 – has already tested for Sauber at Silverstone back in July.
